hi guys & gals, good morning!

my 3ft pleco tank has a 2026 filter. can anyone recommend a powerhead to add on?

i got a SONPAR $16 from petmart yesterday, but it's abit of noise when i put it to full blast.

what i like about this SONPAR:
    - powerhead is detachable from the suction cup bracket
    - adjustable flow control

by the way, what's this "swivel strainer plater"?

i won't mind getting another (better) one, if someone can recommend it.

    ta!

coryfav, i just got a 2026 for my 3ft catfish community tank and i must say the flowrate is quite strong. my pygmaeus don't quite like it and i'm thinking of ways to reduce the flow just a little bit.
with regards to a powerhead, depending on the flowrate u require almost any models from Eden will do. but with a 2026 the tank might not require another powerhead.

but since your current powerhead has an adjustable flow then it should be fine.

    hi, thanks!

yeah, the 2026 is enough for 3' in terms of filtration cos my tank's water is very clear.

but i noticed that some particles tend to settle on the leaves of my nana plants, as one side of the tank seems pretty stagnant. so i put in a small powerhead. still observing...
