Add more water, at least 2 fingers away from the brim. What is your light wattage and filter? Do you have a fan?

Planted86, nice set up you and good to see some healthy plants in your tanks. The plant occupying half of your tank is called Blyxa Japonica and yes, it does grow like wild fire

It is unfortunate that your previous 5 plan tank warped and it seems to be the most horrifying experience an aquatic hobbyist would ever encounter. But do not be detered by this isolated incident. Unless the new tank was purchased from the same manufacturer, give it a try and fill up the water.

If the whole picture appears yellowish and not the tank itself, adjust the setting of your camera.

Its not going to matter if the tank is half full or not. If it's going to give way, it will. Don't worry too much, there are thousands of 5 plan tanks in Singapore filled to the brim.

but your tank in the picture doesn't look like a 5-plan tank... Thought 5-plan tanks got the black trimmings acting as a all-round bracing for the tank.

And the tank in ur picture already has 3 pieces of bracing already, so don't think necessary to add more glass...

Reason for them to canibalize their eggs is usually due to stress. eg. naughty tank mates like the SAE and CAE in your pic, fellow discus or maybe your tank is in a common area with alot of human traffic, loud noises etc.

In order for your discus to breed, you need to create a comfortable sanctuary for them, so that they feel assured that their offspring will have a good start in life without fear of predators. In short, you might want to lose some of your other fishes for your discus to breed.

bro bryan and jungle mania so does it means that if i remove SAE and CAE it will increase the chances of it breeding sucessfully?? will cardinal tera and rummy nose disturb them??

btw what do you mean by naughty fishes?? fishes that eat eggs???
