I heard from a friend that keeping those mini puffer fish would be able to eat the snails but do not know if your crs would be in danger... Sorry if this is not too much help...
Hi,
Can anyone advise how to effectively remove snails from cherry/crs shrimp tank? I am currently removing it manually with a tube everyday. But seems like they keep reproducing. Any methods which will not affect my tank of shrimps and shrimplets?

Uhm, puffers and shrimps do not mix, ever! They will make a meal of the shrimps.
There is a snail trapping device from Sera that you may want to have a look at, but I do not know how it works to be effective or does it affect the shrimps.
Else, you may also want to consider trying this method.

overfeeding probably causes the rise of more snails. one way of reducing is to allow the snails to feast on the algae wafers then remove the food.

yeah it should work. Think it should be spinach.

I read that some use cucumber.

any leftovers not consume by crs will be food for snails. even algae wafer tablets.

Saw my Golden Puffer attact by Boraras. Bit them in the stomach and then whack them in the tail and head. I spent 2 hrs catching the assassins and now hopefully I do not have any casualties. No wonder I have not been seing any shrimplets.

Definitely your puffer will wallop your shrimplets, once there isn't anymore snails to hunt.
Maybe your shrimplets will reappear after removing your puffer. They might be taking cover within your flora, in the presence of threat.

when you say use spinach, do you mean raw or boiled spinach? will the snails all be attracted to the spinach? and will the spinach affect my crs?

boiled spinach. crs loves spinach. some crsers feed them with spinach. can do a search in forum. sometimes if the leaf is too huge and left unconsumed, snails will cling onto it. then remove the next morning when you switch on the lights. should be able to capture them but not all.
