Nice...
Is there a 'pond' I see in the middle of the tank?
Therefore partially submersing the substrate.
How thick is the substrate? Seems like about an inch or 2 from the pic.
Laterly, how do u keep the substrate, though seperated by rock, from spilling back into the 'pond' and reclaiming it in the end?
Of course, if my eyes are playing tricks on me.... it might not even be a pond. hahaha
I do wanted a tank with a 'natural pond' but failed due to the above problems. In the end, I used a shallow plastic container (those used for packing food) and used lapis to cover the surrounding area.
By the time I managed to fill the lapis to the brim of the container, its about 3inch think. Which isn't much of a problem. But the water tends to get dirty extremely easily.
The Lapis got into the 'pond' due to the movement from fauna, adding more headache
In the end, I surrendered after a tedious month and merely added a drinking bowl on top of the lapis.
