    What type of fertiliser should i use for a moss tank? Is base fertiliser recommended?

    don't think so, moss do not have root. so my quest any liquid fert will do. They are not that demanding.

    With ample fish load, and sufficient lighting is more than enough.. for some moss, temperature is another concern.. otherwise, that's about it..

    Mosses grow well in cooler temperature, (if it a small tank)a fan will do. In addition, CO2 and light (18w-36w) depends on tank size. Liquid fert not neccessary but it a boost.

    strong light (with the aid of CO2) will help to grow moss faster and u can see bubbles on moss..!
    if u don't want to use liquid fertiliser, then use the EI method...
