    Tested the water for copper, none present.
    Let it evaporate to half, still no copper
    put one cherry shrimp inside last sunday, he's still alive.

    I think it's safe to assume it won't kill shrimp and fish.

    Cherries are one of the most hardy shrimp I know, that experiment of yours doesn't say much.

    Well i'm open to suggestions. Though i wouldn't consider cherries particularly hardy. point is, there's no copper in the water, pH neutral, 0 dkH. My guess is that any impurities would affect the pH somehow. Especially considering "Coil cleaner" the solution used to clean the fan coils, is corrosive.
