    A Close up pic.

    Some Tank Specs:
    Size: 2x1x1
    Light: 55w PL
    CO2: Pressurized/Internal reactor
    Dosing: EI regime
Flora: HC, weeping moss, Anubias nana, nana 'petite', Crypto. Wendtii 'hybrid', Downoi, Hairgrass
Fauna: Cardinal tetras, unknown rasboras, elegant corydoras, otocinclus, cherry shrimp

If you guys like grandmother stories, this is for you. After lots of neglect, nanas covered the whole of the tank from front to back in a carpet of nanas. I decided to rescape and ripped out 3/4 of them. Then I'm left with this. (The cardinals inside are almost than 3 years old. Bought them in June 2004 and they were in the tank throughout my rescaping process.)

Then I tied weeping moss to a unique piece of bogwood bought at only $5! What a steal. The colour doesn't really look like bogwood because I left it idle in another tank soaking for 2 years+ and gave it a really thorough scrub.

Dropped the piece into the tank, added some rocks, and TADA! Hope you've enjoyed reading. Feel free to comment.

For me, the driftwood looks out of place in this aquascape. Nevertheless, I like the overall layout and it would be interesting to see how it matures.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
