I am thinking of starting a CRS tank.

37 ltr volume and intend to have mosses only.

    Question:

Is a Eheim Liberty 150 overhanging filter good enough?

Whatever you decide on, consider using a sponge on the intake, or even go with a sponge filter altogether.

For shrimp tanks, I have heard good things about the Sera F400 internal filter, which is basically a powerhead filtering through a sponge filter. If not available I am positive a similar device can be built with little effort.

I agree with Eric and Freddy. Sponge filters are the best option. If you need greater water turn over, then at clear put a sponge pre filter at the intake to prevent the shrimps from getting sucked in.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
