Not a chance, unless you're damn lucky. You got to be patient... catch him in a dazed mood like just after lights out.
Like ranmasatome suggested, use a trap...
For bait, use bloodwrom (BW) in it. They will 100% go into the trap... Within 30 minutes you will have 1 SAE in the bottle...

I have tried successfully by placing a large net with tablet food. Once the torpedo-shape SAE comes and begin nipping, push the net against the tank glass to trap them. Also switch off the lights.
I had a damn greedy sae. I stood by with the net during feeding time and scooped it up when it was distracted by the food.
BW = bloodworms?

Oops... Yeah... BW is bloodworms... I am assuming your SAE has tasted bloodworms before... It is almost irresitable to all fishes...
