My colleague's 4Ft setup. Please comment

The driftwood is very interesting. However, it is naked.

What is the foreground plant being used?

Very impressive piece of driftwood. Perhaps it would be better if there were moss/ferns at the "V" area of the wood.

Once the foreground fills up, I think it will be quite nice. But this seems like quite a lot of work maintaining.

H.bolbitis will be a perfect filler for that portion of the wood...

hi all, sorry for the late reply cause need to answer the question from my colleague instead.

To cacatuoides, the foreground plants are glosso. hopefully it will spread fast. BUT one problem is that the weeping moss and some plants seems to rot. why ar???

To Benny and Valice, currently on the DW are some moss only. He will try H.bolbitis but any ideawhere to get it? Thanks!

How long has it been planted? The mosses might brown abit but should grow back in a couple of weeks(Light colored tips on the shoots). Other plants like crypts may melt off partially or completely and give out new shoots couple of days later.

Nice DW there .. agree its kinda empty... and the two pieces of rock on the right seems kinda awkward . Maybe can try to reposition the rocks to "stand" to get more structural feel or add another larger rock tied with moss ?

hi all, this setup have being only about 1 week plus old. But the crypts and moss seems to turn yellowish....i suspect its the temperature.

As for the DW, its found from my colleague kampong in JB. kinda big at 3 ft and abt 25kg.... .
