Think it is an overflow and auto top-up system... hence a 24hour water change system?

    Oooh! Looking very impressive indeed!

Do keep us updated of the development. I suppose the next step will be the pond liner?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

I'll paint it with plain black colour to make a good contrast with the plants.

Sorry for a very late update... Here's how it looks like after been painted..

    Check for leaks..

    planted...

But, I think doesn't look good enough. So, I decide to redesign the tank to make it more natural.. Any suggestions are welcome..

Funny to see my cleaner shrimp try to climb up the tanks about 80-90cm when I clean this tank

Heheheh, your cleaner shrimps are abandoning that sinking ship. Must have thought that the pond suddenly dries up and escaping for other body of water.

Lets see.... driftwood placement. How about making something like a reef lagoon with most things at central position. The edges are to be left empty, only white gravel (clean/vaccum them periodically to maintain the whiteness).
