Wow - the fish sure to have lots of fun in there!
BTW - you have a polariser on the camera to cut down reflection on the water surface?

There are still many empty spaces for planting more plants..
Any ideas what fish can be keep on this tank for top view only? Thanks..

koi if not mermaid
I think anything from the carp family is going to rip his plants apart. How about hatchet fish or the butterfly fish or even a school of tetras.
@blackBRUSH: ranchu will destroy my plant.. not a really good choice
@kiasu: koi too.. mermaid.. hahahano mermaid here laahh..
@Jungle: hatchet will jump put off this tank.. So, it's already decide then.. I'll use hundreds cardinal and around 50 denisonii...Tx...

Are the cleaner shrimps marine type that live in saltwater?

Hi jedi,
SOrry for the wrong name..It's called Taiwan shrimp here within local hobbyst..
Hi ragn4rok, your concrete tank is really impressive! May I suggest you keep our local fish like red arowanas or Siamnese Tiger. It does not do justice to keep small fish in such big tank.![]()
@wks: hahahah.. red arowanas will jump out.. The wall is not high enough to prevent jumping arowanas..
Better photo... now can see more plants!
For fish, how about those Koi Swordtails? They look like mini-koi from the top.
Can Clown Loach do as well? Nice markings when looking from the top.
A shoal of colourful Discus? They sure love the big space.
Upside-down Catfish? Never tried before but could look interesting as it surface.
Can't think of any shoaling smal fish that could look nice from the top.
Cheers!

somehow i felt contrast the substrate casted on the entire pond makes it look artificial..correct me if i'm wrong..maybe can try some wetland plants e.g. papyrus, arrowhead, allowing the pond to blend with it's surrounding.
