    I've only got one male. The sunken belly is obvious only when he flares. Photo 2 looks normal. Think should be alright. Photo taken before eating that's why. Thanks man.

    Latest update and to my surprise. Saw the sole survivor this morning. At this stage already showing very prominent redness on finnages. Think it's a he.

    I think this is my best upclose shot of the female. Though not so professionally taken. But can see more details.



    Recently don her breeding dress. If she's going to breed, then it will be the 3rd spawn. Disappointed in myself as failed to keep all the fries alive.

    Nice colouration on this female ! I am sure this is one of the nicest female apisto among all other female apisto species.

    And maybe it's more unique, whereas majority of apisto females spot lateral spot(s) when mating.
