What's included with the Eheim Pro II 2028 filter??.....

What comes with it? Substrate pro and Ehfi-substrate?

I just got mine and it doesnt looked like any of those to me(i got my ecco a few years back and they gave the original medium).

Need some suggestion and advice.

Eheim Pro II comes with Efhimech x 1 tray's worth, 2 x trays of Substrat Pro, 1 x blue pad, 1 x cotton pad and its install kit (U tubes/ hoses/ spray bar/ rubber suction pads)

Depending on how much you paid for the Pro II, the vendors have a choice whether to include the media kit or not however they should inform the customer of course unless they forgotten to.

The tubes/fittings are definitely complete as well as the pads. It's the bio/mechanical media that varies, depending on where you buy it from.

Some package have Zeolite instead of Efhimech or Substrat Pro. Do take note of that.

hmm ok. So some vendors could have change the filter media inside? i just got mine and it doesnt have any original Ehiem media in it. Just 2 packets of grey stones and 1 packet of ceramic rings.

How much would it cost for the full original media kit?

I guess different batches have different medias. The 2028 I bought a year ago has Substrate pro inside but those I bought 7 months back didn't. Better check with the seller first before buying. Some LFSs allow you to trade in or sell back those you don't need.
