Its a male. Not all fries from a batch will get a full colouration.

I think you got Ap. Cacatuoides "Orange Flash" if I remember correctly, seeing it at clementi

genes: you're right brother, one of my male fries did not have a full coloration on its caudal fin, only 2 broad strips on either sides only...

hi cacatuoides, what do you mean by 'triple coloration'?

I'm watching the other small siblings of that guy, seems like some of them gonna have complete coloring at the tail. anyway have to wait for them to be slightly bigger to be sure.

finally, that guy is pretty LONELY ! since it's the only one that is matured, the others are half it's size

Triple colouration refers to the dorsal, caudal and anal fins having colouration.
For super, it will include the ventral fins.

That's where all the "Super Red", "Super Orange", "Triple Red", "Triple Orange" come from.

Price is difficult to determine...a lot of factors plays a part in pricing: source of fish, good genes and quality, local or imported, etc

A pair of Ap. Cacatuoides can go from 10 to 90bucks depending on the colouration.

I think the A.cacatuoides has cross genes of normal A.cacatuoides and orange flash

i believe A.cacatuoides 'Orange Flash' is a variant achieved to strain breeding as well, similar to a A.cacatuoides 'Triple Red'. So the parentage line is very mixed up.
