I have just added 15 x As into my new CRS moss/downoi tank. All very active after 3 days

    Question:
I bought a Hikari CRS algae mini pellets for the crs. Its 0.5mm diameter type and tends to spread across the bottom of tank. Noticed that a few were unconsume and concern that it may turn bad... moldy.

Is there a better way to feed using this mini pellets?

I'm feeding mine on shirakura pellets. One pellet around 1cm x 0.5cm, cut up into smaller pieces. One pellet for each meal catering to around 25 pieces of CRS. Leftovers wil be consumed by otos. Just imagine a pellet feeding 25 pieces of CRS, still got leftovers. Control your feeding.

I only feed my shrimps twice a week, 1/4 of hikari algae water or 1/4 of spirulina tablet alternately cut into small pieces. My tank is 2ft and there are about 40 shrimps inside

cbong bro, if possible, cut them into smaller pieces and please, please, do not overfeed, you'll end up with bigger problem. You'll end up having slug like worms in your tank, very unsightly

    To sum up~ control feeding.
If you overfeeding, just gradually cut your quantity and find out just about the right amount of food to give without leftovers .
anyway IMO, it's kinda hard for shirmps to die of hunger when you have moss and stuff. So no worries if they are a little underfed.Rather than overfeed and causing more problems like worms and such
It's simple...but no one said it will be easy
