Deletion of members with Zero Post counts

Hi guys,

We will be doing some spring cleaning shortly and will be deleting all inactive accounts, like those with zero posts or those those who have not logged in since 2004.

Please bear with us during this interim period. Everything is expected to be completed by mid Jan 2007 and we hope to reduce our members strength from 6831 to about 3500.

I've a small suggestion here, I agree with you that you need to cleanup the system. Please cleanup those logins which are not accessed for a long time. I feel member logins who regularly login but not contributing should be left alone.

Thanks for the suggestion.

We are currently looking into it. It might be rather tedious to manually verify each and every one of these accounts if they are logged in regularly or not.

Not sure, how users are maintained in the system. If you are using a database then a simple query will help. Let me know if you need any help.

Actually, that's what Benny said. Usually we cut it closer... more like within the last 1 year to 6 months. vBulletin come with tools that make it easy.
