Do you have coral chips in your filter? They are essential if you are keeping african cichlids. I never had to add any aquarium salt. I have 1 fella who suffered and recovered from pop eye disease so many times but he is still alive and kicking now.
African cichlids dying!! Please help!
recently i have lost a few african cichlids to swim bladder problem.
before they die they will always have the same symptoms.. breathing heavily.. not active.. darting around whenever it gets chased by other fishes.. and after awhile or days it will die..
pls advise me what to do. i don't want to lose anymore fishes.
will adding aquarium salt actually helps?
