SAE = Flying Fox ?

Hi,

I'm trying to get some SAE to battle my algae problem.

Saw lfs name some similar looking ones "Xiao Fei Hu" on the tank. Are those SAE ?

Nope. SAE not = Flying Fox. Read this to tell them apart.

to your knowledge, which lfs have a better knowledge on the real SAE ?

you can try to identify a real sae.
1) black stripe extends all the way to fork of tail (impt.)
2) body is slightly gold in colour.
3) fins are almost transparent.

nature may not have stock cos apparently the latest stock not very healthy. you can also try Pet Safari, although slightly ex.

It's an old article that has been in the web for a long time. I think some sites archive a copy of their own.
