was at Tong Choi yesterday...saw a few cyprinids in a display tank beside the cashier counter at Aqua World...these fish have got red and black lateral stripes, some black spot on the dorsal fin...head with blueish purple irridesents....TL around 6-7 cm...schooling...my impression is some north america or maybe artificial stuff...never seen before, so i asked for the price...

HKD 6800 per pair!! i am infected with pop eye disease now...

go peep them if you are around....

OUCH!!! I saw it. It's so beautful!!!! I almost wanted to bag the whole tank until I heard the price. Almost fainted.

But it's really something different. Too bad they don't allow folks to take pictures. Not that the picture would come out well anyway.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Wondering if putting a fish inside a thermos bottle would work. But how to ensure that the fish won't die from lack of oxygen. Humm....
