just take my female photos last night...
Went to Biotope during lunch time, they just came quite a lot of Apistogramma macmasteri, but only got male, no female this time.
For those got interest, can go and take a look (CNY sales, 20% off for all Apisto, but not sure Apistogramma macmasteri got discount or not)

I very much like the colouration. Is it still a young adult? Hope that the finnage will extend much more, then it will be totally awesome.

it looks like a juvenile male...I'm very impress with its coloration, especially this species, I haven't seen any A.macmasteri with such strong colors!!! Pray that it'll breed soon, any pictures of the female?

Relationship must slowly nuture. They will grow into each other presence. No rush, cause you've just got them only.

Saw 2 breeding pairs at Clementi polyart.
there are actually eggs in the tank.

    quite interesting.
was thinking of buying one pair to try breeding since i have a spare tank. but worried that they can be pretty sensitive.

and not sure about the breeding details.

Nice natural form A.macmasteri you have in your tank! Nice subtle colourations on the finnages and the distinctive reds on the caudal fin.

It might be hard to just find a female only. Unless you get it from breeders.
