    Sad to hear this.
Many of us here face death of their beloved fishes.
    We know how you feel.
Get a male & carry on with this great hobby ok.

I've never faced the problem of apistogrammas jumping out of my tanks but i think that in your case its best to put a cover.

Hi bro chuencp, you should have put a cover for safety precaution man. It is really sad to see a nice apisto died like this way. One thing, i don't understand is what makes an apisto jump off from the tank?

The passion for aquascaping and apistogramma never fade away

Get another pair so that you can form a trio. Polyart, C328 and biotope have a steady supply of Ap. macmasteri recently. So they shouldn't be difficult to find. Or you can ask auntie if she has male only for sale. I saw a male inside the betta tank 2 weeks ago. Maybe the female died and she can sell it off individually.

Lower your water height, if not, put a cover.
