    Hi folks,

I am very new to keeping CRS athough been keeping aquascape for 10 years with yamatos.

Recently, I bought a grade B CRS. It went to heaven on the second day while my other cherry shrimp happily tickling the dead body.

Not quiting , I measured my water NO2 and NH all Ok. Temperature at 24 Celcius. I introduce 2 grade C (afraid they might die again!)

Its been almost a week and is Ok and today just add another 2 grade A.

Like to ask what is the water parameter for CRS?
    How about CO2?
Also, how does one tell it is grade A, B or C?

Saw some SS grade? $35! heard also $50 type!

Hey, there are crs costing few hundreds too. Not suprising. Those are very good grades with thick and lots of white. Lots install for you. I've caught the fever 1.5 years ago, and still very much interested in producing good grades. I believed you will enjoy their accompany. With regards to crs death, don't let this hinder you. I started off with lots of casualties with a heavy price tag too. But now, it is a fullfillment watching them produce generations after generations.

    Cheers,

Yeah, you have something that a lot of us don't. You have the exprience for plants. For us, when algae takes over, we can only sit and watch hopelessly.

Ok la. I started off aquascaping and saw these red and white shrimp's contrast against a green backdrop very beautiful and that's how i got started. algae outbreak is usually due to overdosage of fertilizers. My advice is to control them to be algae free.

    To jellydot:

Maybe can do a search cause there are discussions pertaining suitable water parameters. For your info, my ph is kept at 6.6 by CO2 injection. Grade wise, judging on the present crs market and in my perception, sss is mosura, ss is hinomaru, s is v/tiger band.
