Thanks. Yup, they're mine. Frankly speaking, I've spent quite a lot on this particular species.

Nice specimen! Even though it's not flaring, can see the metallic green and blue sheen on the caudal and dorsal fin. Ventral fins are of equal length and not damanged.

However, the male dose look a tad round. Feeding too much?

    Cheers,

p.s. There will be another Apisto Run (HK/TW) in a month or two when the weather turns better. The Apisto gang will be informed.

Just fed them before photo taking. Is it too obese? Ok think will control feeding.

Yeah she seem to settle down already. Can see them exchanging flares recently.
But she has only a single lateral spot on both sides instead of two.
But I really like the faint orangish cheeks and belly of the female.

I've witnessed some strange activity going on. At least to myself. I believed the female had laid eggs under a driftwood. After about a week plus, she moved her eggs to another place almost exposing to the open. Then on the very same day, she again move the eggs into an artificial cave. She seem very insecure. Maybe first time having babies. Always picking up the eggs and then putting them back. Keeping my fingers crossed that someday will see fries.

Thanks Vincent and Dimas. If you remember this female was bought from Eugene. Ya quite strange. She only have one lateral spot even when she's not in brood caring. Also not sure why. Hope it does not affect the fries. By the way, how are your eliz fries coming along?

I remembered you said that this was your best female, with redness in the belly and on the finnage and does not want to breed for you. But i got her going.
