My regulator is leaking at the LP gauge joint. Is this repairable? Will sealing tape work? I've wasted a tankful of gas before I took a look at the pressure. Also, previously when I adjusted to around 1 BPS it fails to restart the next time the timer cuts in. Only if I increase the BPS then it does so. Is my regulator shot? Will I have to spend my hard earned angpows? Any reliable model to consider? Can I get anything in the range of a hunderd bucks?

Thanks all for advice, I bought the taiwanese one from Mr Chan, quite pleasantly suprise at the prices now as I've not kept track of the market rate for a long time. I'll keep the old one as junk in the store room.
