Perhaps you mean drill a hole in your existing tank?
Some glass shops will do it for you if you bring your tank there.

Hi bro,
Can you recommend which glass shop does provide this type of drill hole service. Can you provide details to me, cause I search high and low for this service la.
Thank
Richard
In KL, some lfs that custom make aquariums have this tool to drill holes in glass tanks. [Not recommended for old tanks as the silicone could be fragile.]
Have you tried the yellow pages under aquarium makers?

Hi, i don't know which glass shop does it. I am also not sure if they want to do it, cos if they break your tank in the process, they may be liable to fix it. And if they don't get much from drilling holes, then they may not want to take the risk.
However, if you want to be a little more adventurous, you can buy a diamond drill bit at the hardware shop to make a hole in your tank. it cost less than 10 bucks. Of course, you will need to have a drill in the first place. And U also need to know how big a hole u want, cos they come in different sizes.
I did that with 6 of my tanks. 100% succuss rate, and that was the first time i did it. So i presume it must be rather safe and straight forward. When drilling, remember to keep the surface wet, especially at the contact point between the drill bit and glass.
all the best!
