    Any bro using this? any comments? i.e. what's it's life span? efficiency? cost comapre with pressurised tank?

    Use a pressurised tank, it gives you better control.

    It isn't popular, probably due to cost. It costs more than a cylinder setup, and it usually sits inside tank.

    The cylinder setup beats it hands down. You don't see many users of electronic CO2 reactors too.

    does it cause any chemical reaction in the water which are harmful to shrimps or fishes.
    thinkin of using for my 1.5ft shrimp tank

    not known to be harmful to shrimps or fishes.
    unless your tank is very small and the setting for co2 output rate is too high.

    I heard the electrode replacement is expensive, Co2 tank is cheaper in the long run.

    I remembered someone posted that this thing use up the water kh in the tank. Something along this line.....
