    Hi,

I am moving house soon and closing down my 4ft marine tank.
Thinking of going back to fresh water.

For a start, can advise where are the:

    1) good LFS to recommend (lost touch on this because I have been visiting marine LFS only, for a few years)
    2) place to buy drift wood/bog wood (also new to "wood")
    3) plastic plants (any good brands?)

    Thanks

Check the thread on local fish shops for exact address.

    Hi bryan,

Thanks for the reply. Will visit these LFS.

As for plastic plants, its because I thought of going for a low maintenance aquariurm (quite tough to maintain my marine tank).

Since you mentioned java ferns and nanas, i believe they are "easier" to keep?

Any more plants to recommend for beginners?

    Thanks.

You could look in the aquascaping folder where there is a sticky thread on low tech tanks(note: no plastic plant there). You can get alot of inspiration from there. There are also alot of post you can read on low-tech/low maint. tanks.
