    Yet another cute litte catfish from Southern Pahang, the little warty forest catfish Parakysis verrucosus. Only 2cm long and has these warty tubercles all over the body, including the undersides



    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    Cute? Look all the the tubercles on the head!! Gives me goose pimples! But I suppose it's not visible to the naked eye on a 2 cm specimen.

    Anyway, amazing details on this choy!!

    those B-grade movie director will probably use the face for a horror flick with a title like "attack of the killer parakysis verrucosus"!

    OMG it would have been ordinary looking fish if the shot was from the side. The frontal is creepy! Like roasted catfish that's still alive!
