I totally agreed that Tubiflex worm is a no.
I am currently feeding them tetra bit complete and occasional frozen blood worm or mysis shrimp.

Hi Jeffrey,
Any updates for us? Chong Yu is treating his apisto that have internal parasites and seem to have good result. You may want to contact him for advice.

Maybe we can get Chong Yu to post his treatment of internal parasites, many apistos would benefit from it.

Hi all
Hmmm.. the apistogramma is still slightly thin, stomach slighltly sunken in... well, I have been travelling as well... the other thing is, if the apistogramma has internal parasite, I am sure it will be dead by now rite?
I am into Plecos now...
L46, L173, L134 & L236

Nope. I have two Apistogramma which survived for pretty long and eating but stomach sinks in slowly and finally died. So if really has internals, it can still survive for some time.
It will be dead now if you didn't treat its illness.
