    Here are some pics of an apisto I rescued a while back I think its a mcmasteri female but unsure.

    its still too young to tell but looks more like a viejita and if its female its body shld be more of a yellowish hue. check out the end of its dorsal and anal fins, its growing outwards in a sharp manner so more to be a male.

    Then again i may be wrong..

    Thanks all. Looks like my title was changed for this thread lol. No matter gets same question across. I believe it to be a mcmasteri myself also just wanted a few confirmations to go along with my id. As to being a male it is possible but i have quite a few other apisto females with sharp dorsal and anal fins they just don't stream back as males do. But to be on safe side I will aquire a trio of mcmasteris when i have a chance that way i either end up with 2 pairs or a quad. LOL
