    Hi all

Would like to know what pump is suitable to pump water from ground level to my 2tier tank around 1.5m up from a pail?

My water tap is too far and find too troublesome to get such a long hose not to mention keeping singlehandedly.

So, would appreciate if can tell me which pump can do the job, where to find and cheapest pricing if possible.

    Thanks.

You have a cannister filter in that tank? It may be a bit troublesome but you can use it as a pump.
    1) Turn off the filter.
    2) Take out the intake hose from the tank and dip into your pail of water.
    3) Turn on the filter and the pumping action begins.
    4) When almost done, turn off and _very quickly_ return the intake hose to the tank. Otherwise, a siphoning action begins to empty the water from the tank to the pail.

I used this method for some time until I got a hose and did the job.
Alternatively, get the pump from Simon. It's more convenient.

Using an Eden 316 filter, definitely not strong enuff to pump water up.
