Congrats! How old are they? They looked like they've been around for a while. I have heard that they don't grow very fast.

Hope there are more to come.

Actually I don't really know how old or when they were hatched...the first one was sighted couple of weeks ago, the other 3 just two days ago. They hide so well. Plus I have so many caves and hiding places, I don't even know which pair spawned and when....

Checked with akoh, based on their current size of >1", about 1-2 months old.

I have heard as well that the less you see of them, the better they do in the tank.

CONGRATS!!! So did you purposely set up the spawn or was it just a catfish tank and it happens accidentally? By the way what is your adult zebra's regular diet?

    Thanks.

Yes, the 5 footer was a purposely set up zebra breeding tank, with no other tankmates except for BN and whiptail to control algae. Started feeding them with frozen Bloodworm initially to fatten and bulk up. Now regular diet is an assortment of pellets (4 or 5 types which I premix) and flakes.
