For fans of Amazonia and its underwater world, there's
Equator: Rivers of the Sun (52 mins)
14 March at the Arts House (old parliament building)
Produced and directed by Satoshi Okabe (NHK, Co-produced by NHNZ) this documentary has even beaten the BBC's Planet Earth in docufilm awards.
Synopsis: The mighty Amazon River is the lifeblood of a forest. For half a year freshwater fish flourish in floodwaters that rise amongst the trees, then the waters retreat and the fish must face a six-month drought. The ancient Amazon has endured, and is both a time capsule for ancient animals and a hot-house for the evolution of new species.

You can probably find the box set in one of the big DVD stores.
The particular episode on the Amazon is on Youtube in 6 or 7 separate videos.
