A F1 of a Red Morph parent. He's suppose to be orangy, not yellow.
Blasted the tank with T5 HO and he turned out yellowish.

Nice. Is it from one of your brood?

Quite a nice picture!! If you crop it slightly, it will give more focus to the fish.

It's got a good body shape and nice fins too! What's the actual color of the fins?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

The fins are suppose to be orange in colour, like the paracuba red morph at biotope and its not from my brood or tefes. Bought over from a fellow forumer.

I suppose you can call him an orange morph since these are just trade names given to them.

    11 tanks.

I'll repost this pic of my Wild Biateniate Tefe Bauana. Have been trying to take close up of this fellow recently. But he's been rather uncooperative.

without the T5, it still looks orange to me. But then, the inner cell structure could be yellow hence when strong lens penetrate through, the yellow comes out.

Yup, thats why i said its orangy. Unlike the parent male which exhibits more redness.

I think its the performace of the F1s. Similiar to some of Wilhelm's super red species. The F1s performance are quite different from the parent pair.
