    Mr Sturisoma festivum

    Mr Otocinclus affinis

'Green cory' from Biotope in Bukit Merah, most probably Brochis splendens

    Corydorus sterbai

Eh my apistogrammas never seem to go into the coconut caves i provided for them. Is this normal? I thought they were cave loving fishes.

Quite a diversified collection of fishes you have.

Yeah, I've also read somewhere, where breeders used coconut shell. But I've never tried before. What kind of coconut shell are you using? From the street stall?

Hi i've changed the photos. Realized i've been resizing the photos the wrong way all along after reading benny and sqee's "Guide to Resizing your Photos".
Instead of changing the pixels i've been cutting out parts of the photos.
Yup. So i hope that the new photos are slightly better.

I using those cocnuts that they sell in supermarkets for consumption. Eat the stuff inside then boil for a few hours to remove residue. I tied some moss on top of it too.

Oh my A.iniridae wasn't from CF. I bought it from a farm in Jalan Kayu. It was in a tank of holland rams. So i only have one A.iniridae in my tank.

I like the Apistogramma iniridae. When two males flare together, there is a flash of purple and violet in their finnage. Very nice, but almost impossible to catch on photo as it's really a test of patience. This species was bred locally for a while, but the local breeders have since given up when the market died about a year ago. Shame.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

As for your Ap. sp. wilhelmi juvenile, how big are they and do they exhibit colours already? Reason being that I've got myself some juveniles but cant seem to sex them apart.

It could be that they are all females?

limchongyu's pic of the A.wilhelmi looks like a female.

They are about 2cm. All quite small. A.borellis are 3cm. Only the A.irinidae is adult size.

After the removal of ketapang leaves from my aquarium and water changes, heres an updated picture of the wilhelmi super red dominant fish. I assume that it is a he and he has grown quite a bit.
On the down side my borelli males seem to have both contracted internal parasites. I'll have to head down to a LFS tomorrow and get some medication.

Hi bro, your wilhelmi super red is very nice !

Where did you purchase it from ? Biotope ?

By the way, how many apistos you have in your tank. It looks like 3 or 4 kinds apistos there.

The passion for aquascaping and apistogramma never fade away

I've 4 Apistogramam borelli, 4 Apistogramma wilhelmi "super red", 1 Apistogramam cacatuoides "triple red" and 1 Apistogramma iniridae in the tank. Only the cacatuoides and iniridae are adult size.

If you are interested the wilhelmis are for sale as i'm lowering the number of apistos i keep due to ns commitments.
