Boyu C160 chiller

Hi,

Just got the chiller but after getting it home, didnt know how to attach the valve; no idea how to remove the plastic cover that's attached to the in / outlet.

Anyone using similar chiller could please advice?

nvm. settled. just bring back to shop get them to remove the plugs.
its abit silly to make it so difficult for consumers to set up the valves

Problematic! this morning woke up my tank wall all water vapor. chiller registered >30 degree but my tank's thermometer shows 20 degree... water is as chilling as my fridge..

I strongly sugguest returning it back for a hailea or resun. Just take a look at Boyu specs on the chiller and you will understand why. This one is for 1/6Hp.

but the tank size is：100-250L

I wonder who has a 100L tank with a flowrate at 1800L/H? Let alone 4800L/H?

the model you mentioned is the C250.
Specs for the C160 :
POWER : 1/9
AQUARIUM SIZE : 80 - 160L
FLOW RATE : 1200 - 4200L/H

My Eheim's flow rate is 700L/H. was told that its ok. Will give it a try for another 7 days if still giving problem will give up the Boyu all together.
