nvm. settled. just bring back to shop get them to remove the plugs.
its abit silly to make it so difficult for consumers to set up the valves![]()
Hi,
Just got the chiller but after getting it home, didnt know how to attach the valve; no idea how to remove the plastic cover that's attached to the in / outlet.
Anyone using similar chiller could please advice?
Thanks

Problematic! this morning woke up my tank wall all water vapor. chiller registered >30 degree but my tank's thermometer shows 20 degree... water is as chilling as my fridge..![]()
I strongly sugguest returning it back for a hailea or resun. Just take a look at Boyu specs on the chiller and you will understand why. This one is for 1/6Hp.
VOLTAGE:220/110V
FREQ:50/60Hz
POWER(HP):1/6
AQUARIUM SIZE:100-250L
FLOW RATE:1800-4800L/h
CONNECTOR SPECIFICATION:13mm/16mm/19mm
REFRIGERENT :R-134a
SIZE:380x250x440mm
it's flow rate is:1800-4800L/h
but the tank size is:100-250L
I wonder who has a 100L tank with a flowrate at 1800L/H? Let alone 4800L/H?
Thanks blackBrush.
the model you mentioned is the C250.
Specs for the C160 :
POWER : 1/9
AQUARIUM SIZE : 80 - 160L
FLOW RATE : 1200 - 4200L/H
My Eheim's flow rate is 700L/H. was told that its ok. Will give it a try for another 7 days if still giving problem will give up the Boyu all together.
