It's not a difficult plant to maintain for Isoetes sp. just that, it's fairly slow in growing out and will eventually die out.

The Isoetes sp. is nice. Does any bros have any experience on it? Won't it propagate like Jap Hairgrass? Any idea where could I purchase it? Thanks.
Isoetes is related to ferns and will only propagate by sexual means (no runners, dividing of rhizomes, etc.).
It's not tough to propagate Isoetes but it takes a lot of patience. I'll post a thread on this.

Eleocharis acicularis (radicans) leaves grown emerse like that outdoors are stiff, they convert to a softer underwater form. I know they were grown emerse or at least semi-emerse, because the upper one is blooming and the lower one has brown tips from dryness It looks like it to me. I grow it outdoors in pots sometimes, used to use it for bonsai. Here's one before it gets torn up and submerged, it's just starting to bloom but you might not see that in this small pic.
