I think the two new filters are not in Singapore yet. Together with a host of other Eheim products, they were launched in October 2006.



The new filters have electronic controls with indicators. It is also available in 2 sizes now. The Pro 3e 2076 with 12.5 L capacity for tanks up to 400 L with a pump rate up to 1650 l/hr. The Pro 3e 2078 with a 14.5L capacity for tanks up to 700 L with a pump rate up to 1850 l/hr.

I'm sure the prices won't be cheap as these are made in Germany (unlike the Classic range which is now made in China). The 25 litres Pro 3 2080 (for tanks up to 1200L) was almost S$700, so that'll give you an idea what to expect.

It was already presented in Malaysia during their Aquatic Fair last year. I'm sure we'll see it at Aquarama in May this year.

I'm quite curious about their actual size. I have a brand new Pro 3 sitting around since the last Aquarama as it was too big to fit into my cabinet. Shame. Perhaps the Pro 3e 2078 will be smaller.

I've been to the aquafair last year in KLCC.
The new model of Eheim Pro 3 is smaller than 2080 but bigger than 2028.
Was amazed by the function of the filter's microchip.

If i didn't remember wrongly, there is only 1 outlet and 1 inlet.

NA at balastier selling. It's below $600, The lower model is a bit cheaper. Comparable price to the pro3 2080 I think.....

NA Currently still have stock on the Pro 3e and Pro 3 when i went down NA Yesterday, brought a 2080 for my 4 ft but its too big for my cabinet thus change to 2 Pro II 2028. If I have the space i would go for Pro III 2080.
