Those pieces are lost causes, I'd suggest trimming them away and letting whatever green pieces there are to recover on their own.
Will moss died if left dry in the open?? i got a mature piece of moss on driftwood and i left it drying on the table for nearly 6hrs before i put it inside the tank due to some reasons.. right now, the front of the moss on the driftwood seems to be withered and dry and appear to be in light yellow or light brown in colour.. how can i make it to as healthy as before.. i will put some pics to show how badly it turns out to.. Will high light and increasing co2 helps??

Call me Brian.
P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

yeah it will dry up and die in the open, need to keep them moisture/wet.

Just cut off the dry bits and see what happens. Should be able to recover, they're pretty tough.
You can if you dare to fail - Stan Chung
is it because light to strong?

Nope. The moss died because it dried out.
If you leave the moss on driftwood out when you are working on the tank. Find a big towel, wet it, and cover your moss and other plants.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
You can also mist it occasionally with a little spray bottle... if you need to keep it out and work on wood...or whatever else.
