    Hi guys,

I am currently using a Rena Flow 300C Tiny Powerhead on my CO2 reactor for my 3ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft tank.

Is the flowrate from the powerhead enough ? (300L/H)
Or do I need something more powerful ?

    Thanks guys.
Trying to improve CO2 distribution and water circulation in my tank.
Attack of hair algae is getting on my nerves.

    regards
    Sam

    Hi Sam,

I may be wrong here, but I feel that with a powerhead with high flowrate, the chances of having undissolved co2 forced out of the reactor by the strong flow would be higher.

If your aim is to have better co2 distribution, you might want to consider connecting a rainbar to the output of your reactor? It will definitely help to better distribute the dissolved co2.

    Cheers!

hmmm will take that into consideration.

hw do i go about improving water circulation in my tank then ?
    anyway ?

i got the powerhead-driven reactor on my left, my canister intake on the left, and rain bar (out from the canister) on my right of the tank.
    is it good enough ?
or is there better ways to circulate the water ?
