If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
hahaha
Singapore Rojak = multi racial
Bascially dutch style is planting in uniformed formations or simply rows of plants. In the dutch style of aquascaping alot of attention is put into where plants are planted, rule of thumb being the tallest plants must be put at the back or the sides, small plants in the front, or build up with terraces in the middle layer. You will also realise in Dutch Aquascapes, red plants are also usually used in abundance to make the aquascapes rich in vibrabt colours.
There were earlier discussions on this. eg.

Dutch style is now very uncommon imho, so you might have difficulty finding recent information on it.
I've yet to see a real life Dutch style tank, so I cannot judge its beauty.
Furthermore, dutch style focus alot on plants, so much so selection of fish is very selective to ensure that it does not overtake the scape in aesthetics or clashes in style. Lastly, it takes great dedication to keep it up. I know, cause I did it and it was really tough.
can ranmasatome tank ada06 considered as dutch style? just asking!
hmmm.... very informative.
thanks guys.
i personally will not attempt a dutch style, it's definitely a lot of work! respect for anyone here who has attempted it.![]()
