can anyone tell whether temprature around 28-30 celcius ok for plants, well, should say most of the plants?

i stil new to this and don't know anything about the names, even in the shops, just buy if i think they are nice for my tank... but they are not growing, i think it was mainly due to the high temp.

    headache.. headache!

Anything from 26 to 28 degrees C is great imho, if you can get 25 degrees C it'll be good too. 29 and 30 degrees C are starting to get a little too high.

so is there any ways i could lower my temp further? think my house is too stuffy in the afternoon, that's why the water temp is high as well....

chiller is out of the options... no $$$, am using 1 fan, but the best i could get is just 28...

If it's too much trouble, then your temperature of 28 degrees C is already good enough.

    A tip:

If your room/area of your house gets a little stuffy, get a standing fan and switch that on - have that face in the direction of your tank, make it oscillate and this will help move the warm air around.

    That worked for me.

having the idea to get another fan as well... i'm wondering how much a fan costs over S'pore.. or some places in M'sia.

the one i'm using now is around 100 bucks (RM), can't remember the actual price. i think it's a bit pricey, but i bought it out of desperate measure... this time gonna look for a cheaper one.. if not toothache again~~

for sure that price u paid was certainly on a high side. I ever boght stuffs from LFS in malacca, i don't remeber they were selling so expensive. Anyway in singapore, you get a resonable one below $20.
