Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Ha ha..there is if you believe there is such existence. Man made rules...
Uptz your sales .. eman.. When are you coming out "Fusion" red?![]()
Oops....Its just a fancy name I came up with, sorry for the confusion guys.
Let me put it back as Ap. Cacatuoides "Triple Red", male with a red ventral fin (refer to picture)![]()

Or was yours known as Super Red? Where all the finnages are red...
Basically, the usual caudal, anal and dorsal fins are red, together with an extra ventral fin which was red too, something a little rare in the normal Ap. Cacatuoides "Triple Red"
Because of the extra red ventral, I assume the genes of the parent are very strong and it resulted in high quality fries which had their red colored up at a very young age!!! I would say that this is really a very good pair after being in this hobby for some time.

Actually "triple red" also technically not correct, as it is orange. True "triple red" is red in colour which is really beautiful.
I'll like to kindly disagree with your statement, this picture does not do any justice to the actual fish, the color between the picture and the actual specimen is different....In reality, this specimen is more red rather than orange, those who have seen it personally will agree with that...
I'm toying with an idea to showcase this pair in the main display tank at Aquanature in Eunos, hope to attract the public in appreciating the beauty of apistos and encourage new apisto lovers too, what do you guys think?
mods can help move this thread to appropriate section for discusssion as I've decided to keep this priceless pair![]()

I'm still contemplating because the new owner isn't cooperative, he acts on his own even though I have kindly advise him about his planted tank....
Thinking what harm he can do if I put my apir there....but I feel that my pair would be very happy to have a vacation in a bigger tank!![]()
