why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Are they full grown or babies?
Justin, how big are these mini gobies anyway? Can't be smaller than the Pandaka sp. yes?
about the same size.. probably just slightly bigger.
Err.. you sure its the same?? The one in the picture.. at most only 1cm
Hehehe... there is a reason why I asked about the size.I was already suspecting yours may be a totally different one from what ranmasatome got. The one from Farmart may or may not be the same as well.
What you have got is probably the more "commonly" found bumblebee gobies (Brachygobius sp.) in the trade. That said, there are a total of 9 different species in the genus, so what the shops have may not all be the same.
Can't tell for now what are those ranmasatome got. Waiting for a full detailed shot.![]()
frankly even Helen Larson aren't sure, the whole group needs to be revised.
