    Hi all,
after few months I founded new aquacube (16litres). I've placed rocks in such a way that you can watch tank from the front (my workplace) and left side (bed). I planted only hairgrass and I need advice what to plant further. In front as you can see on attached photos there's small plant-free place where I'd like to plant HC. What do you think about it? Would you plant into aquarium any other (e.g. stem) plants?

As you can see, rocks have different origin. They are positioned to create small mountain pass. From left there's rock of fire, from right, there's rock of winds. I spent lot of time to find (for me) satisfaction. Even if I didn't use third stone to rich harmony as usual aquascaping guides say.

I'll be glad for any opinion/question/etc.

Now some pics. Excuse worse quality. They've been made during maintenance

    regards lukas / czech republic

Hi bro, do u intend to leave the tank like this without filter,fan,airpump,co2 system etc? If it is so, i don't think your floras and faunas can hardly survive without all these equipments especially filtration.

The passion for aquascaping and apistogramma never fade away

Lucas, I thought they are two different tanks until you said it is a same tank at different angles.

I can identify with you when you said you had spent a great deal of time in the placement of rocks. Although it is a small tank and many may think it as a simple task, I am sure you indeed find great satisfaction when you finally found "IT"- the right spot of the layout of the stones which only you, and hopefully other, can feel it. The task is more difficult if you are viewing it in two different angles. According to the japanese, rock placement is a meditative and spiritual process which requires lots of patience, understanding, artistic inclination, sharp eyes for details, hardwork, clear mind, etc.

Wind and Fire element? Great to hear our Czech friend on oriental Taoism theory.

Great job, the layouts from both angles look calm to me.

hi. of course not. it's CO2 injected and filtration system is also there. i've just put it out during maintenance there's no need to use fan or heating, my room has constant temperature ~ 22-23C

    Hi there,
thanks for your answer. You're right, this process is long term process and you've to dive into it and forget everything else. Everytime I establish new tank I have to know I'm ready to do it. This tank was formed in moments when I wasn't angry or something like this form school or my job. But whole journey is front of me, I'm at the beginning

As for the plants, I also thought to let hairgrass spread over whole tank and leave it only with hairgrass.

Yeap. Do go with the hairgrass plan you have, minimal in a small tank is more..=)
