I am using juwel L180 for my planted tank. Since it came with an internal filter, it is very difficult for me to fix a skimmer with it. Is it true that juwel tank need not nessary to use skimmer since it suction is on top. Can anyone suggest a best to install a skimmer for juwel tank.

    Welcome to Aquaticquotient!

Yes, with the provided Juwel internal filter, you don't have to use a skimmer.
As you notice carefully, there are two suction inlet, one at the bottom, while the other is at the top.
The top inlet, serves as the skimmer.
So you don't require another skimmer at all.

Hope it helps and enjoy your planted tank.

Indeed. If you are using the standard internal filter that comes with the tank, then there is no need for a surface skimmer. The water enters the filter from the top where the grooves are.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
