    L.cardinalis supposedly comes in two different variants. One is the petite one (known as the small form) and the other, that grows big. I personally don't know how to differentiate the two.

    As for what is emersed form, it just meant that it has not transformed itself to suit life underwater which is the submersed form. Most of the plants we have are grown above water by farms (the emersed form) and when we use it in the tank, the plants will transform themselves to the submersed form.

    no la, the bottom part looks emersed, but the top looks submersed already.
    The "normal" form is larger and has a more pointy leaf tip.

    I thought they look pretty submerse already? Emerse form have reddish/pinkish leaves right?

    thanks for the value explain. by the way this plant is actually is just a mid or background plants? cost this is a gift i got it from farm and i just plant into my tank. i can see there growing. but not fast like stem plants.

    It is more of a lower midground to high foreground plants. Depending on which form you get.

    oh i see. able to ID or have to wait for the plants to grow than can able to know is mid or foreground plants.
