    Hi again...

Not stopping on the liquid water collumn fert (which is going to be released soon enough), I also plan to mass-produce root fertilizer (as in ADA substrate inserts, JBL 7 balls, azoo balls, ect).

My next product is going to be in tablet form.

Again I would like to ask for your opinions on this one, label design and whatever there is you have to say about the product.

Tablet is double sided, one side with groove and another with initial stamping.

Each tab weigh in at 3.1-3.2 grams.

Tablet disintegration is slow enough, does not dissolve at all during insertion process, so it is quite mess-free unlike some made made balls/inserts.

Content : N, P, K, Mg, Cl, Ca, S, C, Mn, Mo, Zn, Cu, B, Fe, Minerals, Binder, Tableting agents, Filler, etc.

The tablet looks fine. Maybe its just me, but the label looks poorly designed and done in a rush. Gives it the "made-in-china" sort of look. Maybe the "glowy" effect gives it that image to me.

    Again, this is my opinion.

Well.... it is not just you. The label is indeed made in 30 minutes, starting from picking the pic from my album to anyhow done

The tablet is done with a machine and ingredients are pre-fabricated trough series of process to small flowable granules prior to forging. It is kinda rough looking on the surface, but I'd say is acceptable for a root tab (the composition is after all totally different from those of drugs tablet, so it is not easy and not cheap to forge a smooth looking, attractive tablet with striking colour).

Yup, the tablet looks fine as a root tab for sure. Besides, I think, as a tablet form, it'll be easier to have it inserted into the gravel without have to disturb the substrate, unlike for some brands where its round, having to insert it into a thickly planted area ends up with a mini "hiroshima" in the tank. For a tab, just need to hold it sideways and insert it in, much easier to work with for sure.

Hehe, just that you'll need to work on the packaging's design.

Maybe you can get a better idea if you should take a look at ADA, JBL, Sera, Ferka, etc packaging for an idea.

Somehow catches my attention should I visit a LFS to get some form of fertilization, well, that's until I check out the price of course.

Now... this is another concept that I did for the other product.
Sleek, minimalist, no neons... I hope to create something less made-in-china look. Trying to soak in ADA and TROPICA styling and make something new.

Here it is again, the tablet label, also in same styling.

I'm not a harvard graduee, so I will accept any kindness of language-fixing and lets not forget your opinion on the design.

yeap, I think the first draft with black background looks more stylish and professional.

By the way, the dosing instructions of the liquid macro+ works for you? Or is it similar to Tom barr's EI ?

Since the macro+ is also mentioned, here is the draft as well...

    @Ah_ZhaN,
Could try to switch the black into white and the white into black and see how it looks

The fert (macro) is made in a fixed proportion in such its N-P-K ratio of around 5-0.6-15 and intended for use in general planted tank. It worked well enough in my tanks and in most tester tank. Usually the user just have to adjust the frequency and the dosing slightly to meet the tank's demand.
Reports going in indicated that the my dosing instruction (as per label) is correct and acceptable, regular tanks would need 1-2x per week, while high light heavily planted tanks tend to consume 3x a week.

While the micro is used as is per label, as indicated by all reports (and my own prolonged testing) coming in to me, it is 1x a week. Some would use 2x a week on heavily planted tank with fast growers.

Tom barr's EI is also great, I'd say. It worked well enough in my large tanks, though it would be easier for me to pre-dissolve all so the dosing would be not so EI anymore (since you know exactly the concentration of the fert solution).
But with all regulations going on, it is getting difficult to get the required chemicals :
    - if you do not know where to buy
    - if you only need just a kg or two
    - if you live somewhere like I do, getting just a sack of KNO3 would gey you carefully watched, given only if you are working on the appropriate field.

Would prefer the other two pictures to the one on red lotus.
