    Hi for those interested i saw Apistogramma iniridae at Y618. If not wrong there were a few females. Decent quality. Price wise is quite ok.

    Well i couldnt resist the urge , and bought a female. Took a photo of it. Problem is my SD card reader has some problem again. Will post the photo tonight.

    Photos! Not too clear though.

    Polyart also has a batch when I visited them yesterday...thought they look like Ap. cf. Pertensis

    I'm new to apistogrammas too and not really good either.
    As a rough guide,I would thinkfor this fish females are those with shorter ventral fins and squarish anal fins, compared to longer ventral fins and sharper anal fins in males. Also they look a bit more yellowish. Sometimes hard to see in the shop aquarium.
